MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced by his global impact. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He was a part of the team together with Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and in the year following, he released his sophomore album the chart-topping Dopamina. Later in 2021, he performed in a duet with TINI on her most streamed song Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo is a musician born in a home with a music program. His parents and brothers were both musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. When a young boy was in school, he took saxophone and guitar. At first, he wanted to become an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
